Heat Mirage was written quite some time ago. I wrote the music first.
Artist Statement +After coming up with the music for this song I listened for a while to see how it felt. The lyrics were inspired by the mood of the music. I could visualize a desert scene.
I thought about a relationship with a cruel person who offers just enough affection to string you along. I think the metaphors are obvious.
