Marbleized Wall 1st veining process
Artist Statement +When we renovated our house I decided to create a faux Sierra marble wall behind our entertainment center. First I used glazes to create a cloudy base texture typical of White Sierra marble. The veining was created in two processes. I decided to record myself with a time lapse video while I laid down the the basic veining patterns in the 1st video and then finished with detailing to create the impression of depth in the 2nd video. It was fun to do. I wish I could work that fast!
